The site will handle the movement of customer-specific products, including beers, wines and spirits, within a fast-paced warehouse environment.As Technical Operations Support, you will play a vital role in providing a knowledgeable, solutions-based approach to ensure the smooth day to day running of the technical function in the warehouse.Working hours: 4 on 4 off nights, 18:00 - 06:00Salary: Up to £28,318 + £2,000 night premium per annum DOEKey duties of Operations Support:Work closely with 3rd parties on external systemsAssisting the Picking and Packing Team by providing Engineering solutions toassistin an Operational capacity.Monitoring all machines and ancillary plant to drive efficiency and reliability.Carry out planned maintenance,inspectionsand complete repairs with little disruption to the Operational schedules.Look for opportunities to continuously improve performance.Follow set procedures and guidelines with respect to Health and Safety and COMAH Regulations.Ensure good working practices and housekeeping are adhered to.Providing weekly reports to management team on status of operational equipment.Proactively make recommendationsregardingthe equipment to meet the site operational requirements and future development.Qualifications You will be expected todemonstratecompetence in the following areas:Label Printer set-up and maintenanceNetwork patching of laptops and printer to pack benchesSystems/Peripheral ConfigurationLocal Control of IT Asset ManagementGeneral Troubleshooting and Fault FindingTechnical knowledge is desirable in the following areas: (External Systems)Printer ManagementDevice ManagementStaff Maintenance (such as passwords and access levels)CubiscanMaintenanceConveyor systemsPatching of Dumb Terminals and PrintersExperience in working with the following equipment is desirable:CheckweighersPallet wrappingShrink wrappingVarious bespoke hand packing/labelling lines with printersMCSAdditional Information As part of our drive to make Great Beara great place to work.
