Edinburgh | 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract | Hybrid | Competitive SalaryAbout the EmployerOur client is a respected professional-services firm advising private clients, families, landowners, trustees and charities across legal, tax, property and succession matters.The OpportunityWe are supporting our client with the appointment of a Credit Control Administrator to join its Finance team on a full-time, 12-month fixed-term basis. Based in Edinburgh, the role will initially be office based, with longer-term hybrid working potential.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Credit Control Manager with the timely and effective collection of outstanding feesMaintain regular client contact by email, telephone and letter in a professional and discreet mannerSupport the resolution of credit control queries raised internally and externallyLiaise with Partners, fee-earners and colleagues across the business to progress outstanding mattersPrepare entries for fee payments and support accurate cash allocationHelp ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the credit control functionMaintain accurate records and follow internal processes to support effective reporting and administrationHandle confidential client and financial information with care and professionalismCandidate ProfileEssential Skills & ExperiencePrevious experience in credit control administration or a similar finance administration roleExcellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing prioritiesStrong attention to detail and accuracy when handling financial informationProfessional and confident communication skills, including an excellent telephone mannerHigh level of confidentiality and discretionStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationshipsProactive approach with the ability to work on your own initiativeStrong team player with a collaborative and helpful approachExperience using Microsoft Office packagesWillingness to learn new business systems and platforms, with full training providedWhat's on OfferFull-time, 12-month fixed-term contractCore hours of Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm33.75 hours per weekEdinburgh-based role with longer-term hybrid working potentialOpportunity to develop within a respected professional-services environmentSupportive team culture with strong training and development opportunitiesA workplace that values professionalism, discretion, collaboration and individual career developmentNext StepsTo learn more about this opportunity, please submit your application or contact our team on 0131 376 3376.Due to the high volume of applications we receive, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
