IS Applications Lead (Contract)Location: Barrow-in-Furness (Minimum 4 days onsite per week)Rate: OpenContract: Inside IR35We're supporting a leading organisation in the search for an experienced IS Applications Lead to take ownership of a complex enterprise applications landscape, with SAP at its core. This is a hands-on leadership position, managing outsourced partners, driving governance and ensuring business-critical applications remain secure, resilient and high performing.The RoleYou'll be responsible for:Leading the operational delivery of the enterprise applications estateOwning SAP governance, change and release managementManaging third-party application vendors and outsourced service providersOverseeing application architecture, performance, security and resilienceDelivering application upgrades, implementations and transformation projectsCoordinating testing, UAT and deployment activitiesManaging major application incidents and service escalationsSupporting audits, IT General Controls and compliance activitiesDriving application lifecycle management across on-premise and SaaS platformsManaging software licensing, renewals and commercial agreementsWorking closely with Cyber, Infrastructure and business stakeholders to improve security and operational maturityWhat We're Looking ForStrong experience leading enterprise application environmentsProven SAP applications governance and support experienceKnowledge of Azure, Microsoft 365, Power Platform and Power BIStrong understanding of ITIL, change management and IT General ControlsExperience managing outsourced suppliers and third-party vendorsExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsExperience delivering application and SAP-related projectsDegree in IT, Business or equivalent commercial experienceIf you're looking for your next contract opportunity and have a strong background in enterprise applications and SAP leadership, we'd love to hear from you.TPBN1_UKTJ
