This is an excellent opportunity for engineers from manufacturing, FMCG, food, packaging, building products, automotive, process, heavy engineering, plastics, chemical or industrial production environments who enjoy fault finding, problem-solving and working on modern production equipment.Location & Commutable AreasThe site is easily commutable from:Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Crewe, Nantwich, Congleton, Leek, Stafford, Stone, Market Drayton, Winsford, Northwich, Macclesfield, Uttoxeter, Alsager, Sandbach, Middlewich, Kidsgrove, Audley, Holmes Chapel, Whitchurch, Telford, and surrounding areas.The Role – Electrical Maintenance EngineerAs an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will support production by carrying out planned and reactive maintenance activities across a varied manufacturing plant.You will diagnose faults, minimise downtime and ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.Role Duties include Electrical Maintenance EngineerElectrical fault finding and repairs on production machineryPlanned preventative maintenance (PPM)Reactive maintenance and breakdown responseWorking with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systemsSupporting continuous improvement initiativesEnsuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standardsAssisting with equipment upgrades and reliability improvementsLiaising effectively with production and engineering teamsRole Requirements – Electrical Maintenance EngineerApplications are welcomed from electrically qualified engineers with experience in a manufacturing or production environment.You may hold:NVQ Level 3 Electrical EngineeringCity & Guilds Electrical QualificationsONC/HNC/HND Engineering preferred18th Edition preferredApprenticeshipExperience of the following would be advantageous:PLC fault finding and diagnosticsVariable Speed Drives (VSDs)Industrial electrical systemsHydraulics and pneumaticsMechanical maintenance and fittingContinuous process or high-volume manufacturing environmentsWhat's on Offer?
