Position Overview
Our organization is actively looking for full-time, permanent board-certified or board-eligible anesthesiologists to join our team in Troy, NY. Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate expertise in regional anesthesia and obstetric anesthesia.
- Manage a diverse range of cases, including General Surgery, Urology, Retina, Gynecology, Vascular, Orthopedics, Podiatry, Dental, ENT, Endoscopy, Thoracic, and occasional Pediatric procedures.
- Oversee operations in 9 operating rooms and manage 1-3 endoscopy rooms daily.
- Support the catheterization lab as required and provide coverage for the Burdett Care Center, our Labor and Delivery unit.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, primarily working within an Anesthesia Care Team model.

Troy, NY, is conveniently located just a short drive north of Albany, the state capital. The area offers easy access to Saratoga, the Adirondacks, and the Berkshires, providing endless outdoor activities throughout the year. Additionally, the Finger Lakes region, New York City, and Boston are all within a 2-3 hour drive. The Capital Region is known for its excellent public school system and a variety of private schooling options. Albany International Airport is also easily reachable.
Compensation and Benefits
We provide a competitive compensation package that includes:
- Annual Salary: $600,000
- Call Schedule: 1:8, with optional extra call available for additional pay
- Post-Call Day Off: Enjoy a day off after being on call
- Second Call: Optional and compensated
- Signing Bonus: $100,000 for a two-year commitment
- Quality Bonus: Available after the second year
- Vacation: 8 weeks plus 1 week for Continuing Medical Education (CME)
