Schedule: Monday-Friday, 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee receiving, inbound logistics, inventory movement, and warehouse operations. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of inbound products, maintaining inventory accuracy, supervising warehouse staff, and driving operational excellence in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee receiving, inbound logistics, inventory movement, and warehouse operations. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for ensuring the efficient flow of inbound products, maintaining inventory accuracy, supervising warehouse staff, and driving operational excellence in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Key Responsibilities
Receiving & Inbound Logistics
- Schedule, coordinate, and supervise the unloading of incoming shipping containers and freight trailers.
- Inspect inbound shipments for damage, accurate piece counts, proper labeling, and compliance with purchase orders.
- Ensure timely and accurate receipt of inventory within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Manage, track, and audit inventory transfers between warehouse locations and third-party logistics (3PL) facilities.
- Investigate and resolve receiving discrepancies, shortages, and vendor compliance issues.
- Establish and oversee efficient putaway processes to ensure products are promptly staged and moved into primary storage locations.
- Manage inventory replenishment activities to maintain stock levels in picking locations and support uninterrupted order fulfillment.
- Optimize warehouse slotting strategies based on product velocity, size, and inventory turnover.
- Conduct routine cycle counts and audits of storage locations to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Lead, train, coach, and mentor a team of approximately six warehouse associates.
- Assign daily workloads, monitor productivity, and conduct regular team meetings and performance discussions.
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Enforce OSHA guidelines and safe operation of forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment.
- Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for receiving, unloading, staging, put away, and replenishment activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, including dock areas and storage aisles.
- Partner with Inventory Control, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, and Planning teams to resolve inventory discrepancies and operational challenges.
- Identify process improvement opportunities that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
- 3-5 years of warehouse operations experience, including receiving, inventory management, and logistics.
- Prior supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP systems, and barcode scanning technology.
- Experience managing inventory transfers and maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Ability to operate or oversee the use of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet handling equipment.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and meet operational deadlines.
- A hands-on leader who enjoys working on the warehouse floor.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to motivate teams and improve operational performance.
