Our organization, a physician-led multispecialty group with over 120 providers, is in search of an OBGYN Residency Program Director located in Fresno, California.

The Program Director will be responsible for organizing, coordinating, and overseeing the integrated OB-GYN Residency Program at our affiliated medical center, ensuring compliance with ACGME requirements. This role involves staying updated on clinical advancements in OBGYN and actively engaging in professional activities that enhance resident training, both in clinical and educational settings. The Program Director will provide leadership and supervision to OBGYN residents during their didactic and clinical educational experiences. This is a full-time role, comprising 0.5 FTE dedicated to program directorship and 0.5 FTE in clinical practice.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee and manage the OB-GYN Residency Program in alignment with ACGME standards.
- Stay informed about the latest clinical developments in OBGYN.
- Engage in professional activities that support resident education and training.
- Lead and supervise residents in both didactic and clinical settings.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in graduate medical education within an ACGME-accredited teaching hospital and OBGYN program.
- A minimum of one (1) year of Program Director experience within the last five (5) years, or at least three (3) years of Associate Program Director experience in the same timeframe.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with resident physicians, faculty, hospital administration, and other staff.
- A genuine passion for leadership development and mentoring residents.
- A valid and unrestricted medical license from the California State Medical Board, along with current OBGYN Board Certification.
