Radiology - Musculoskeletal Radiologist
Job Description
Our organization is in search of a faculty member trained in musculoskeletal radiology, specifically one who has completed an MSK fellowship, to join the Department of Radiology and Medical Imaging. The primary workplace will be at our medical center located in Maywood, Illinois, which is roughly 12 miles from downtown Chicago.
Ideal candidates should be Board Eligible in Radiology, possess fellowship training in musculoskeletal radiology, and demonstrate robust clinical abilities to efficiently navigate the full range of imaging modalities and procedures pertinent to MSK imaging.
Positions available include either an on-site role or a hybrid arrangement that necessitates some on-site presence at the main campus for interventional procedures such as joint injections/aspirations, bone marrow sampling, and soft tissue/bone biopsies. Evening shifts and weekend plain film call duties can be performed remotely from home, utilizing fully operational PACS and voice recognition systems. A strong commitment to both clinical practice and formal resident education is crucial. There are also opportunities for those interested in clinical and translational research.
Faculty rank and salary will be aligned with the candidate's experience and qualifications. Consideration for the role of Section Chief may be available for suitable applicants. It is essential that candidates are licensed to practice in the State of Illinois at the time of hiring.
