As a Cardiologist at the Clarksburg VA, you will deliver comprehensive, patient-focused care in both inpatient and outpatient environments, supported by a collaborative and highly skilled team.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide general cardiology clinical care, including inpatient and outpatient consultations.
- Perform and interpret various diagnostic tests such as:
- Echocardiography.
- Exercise and pharmacologic stress testing.
- Holter monitoring and ECGs.
- Diagnose and manage arrhythmias and complex cardiac conditions.
- Engage in patient evaluation, treatment planning, and documentation in the electronic health record.
- Participate in peer reviews, committees, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain high standards in clinical care, leadership, and communication.
- Board Certification is required.
- Experience with the VA system is advantageous.
- Expertise in advanced cardiac imaging and TEE/TTE is highly desirable.
- Comprehensive cardiac evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment.
- Interpretation of ECGs and ambulatory monitoring.
- Cardioversion and stress echocardiography.
- Hemodynamic monitoring and catheter management.
- Temporary pacemaker placement.
- Central line and arterial access procedures.
- Management of ICU-level cardiac care.
