Our organization is on the lookout for additional Outpatient Neurologists to enhance our expanding team at St. Peters Neurology, situated in the lively Capital Region of New York.

Position Overview:
  • Outpatient role from Monday to Friday, featuring a shared call rotation among team members.
  • A well-established practice with three full-time physicians and a team of two advanced practitioners, focusing on general neurology care in the outpatient setting and inpatient rounding/consultation at a local hospital.
  • Shared rotational call with robust practice support.
  • Capability to perform EMG/NCS and EEG is required.
  • Opportunities to read sleep studies are available.
  • Access to sub-specialties, including an MS Headache Center, along with strong Hospitalist support.
  • Specialization opportunities in neuromuscular and epilepsy are available on dedicated days for those with relevant expertise.
Qualifications:

Candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • Board Certification in Neurology.
  • Fellowship training in various sub-specialties is welcomed but not mandatory (the primary focus is on general care).
  • Excellent clinical and communication skills, along with a strong commitment to team-oriented patient care.
  • A desire to provide general neurological care is essential.

Compensation Package:

Our organization offers a comprehensive salary and benefits package that includes:

  • Base compensation ranging from $330,000 to $340,000, with potential for increased earnings based on productivity.
  • The stated salary reflects the initial range of total compensation and does not account for productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift bonuses, and other applicable cash compensation. Additionally, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits from their medical group employer. This salary range is provided in compliance with state law and may vary based on the aforementioned factors.
  • Sign-on bonus of $25,000.
  • Retention bonus of $15,000 upon reaching the two-year mark.
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including health, vision, and dental insurance.
  • Paid malpractice coverage, including post-employment tail coverage.
  • Five days of CME time along with a $4,500 expense allowance.
  • 27 days of paid time off.
  • 403B retirement savings plan with employer matching.
  • Relocation assistance available up to $25,000 for candidates relocating from outside the Capital Region.
  • Loan Repayment: Our institution qualifies as an eligible employer for the federal Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program.
