Job Description
Hospitalist Position Overview
- 168 shifts annually
- Shift timings include 7 AM - 7 PM, 7 PM - 7 AM, and 9 AM - 9 PM
- Primarily a 7 days on / 7 days off schedule
- Hospitalist services are available at both the Waterloo and Cedar Falls locations
- Open ICU with coverage provided by Intensivists
- Interest in performing procedures is appreciated but not required
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary of $280,056
- Signing bonus of $50,000
- Relocation assistance of $15,000
- Malpractice insurance and tail coverage fully funded by the employer
- Health, dental, vision, and life insurance with shared premium costs
- Two retirement plans: 403(b) with employer matching and a 457(b) savings plan
- Short-term disability coverage paid by the employer, with an option to buy long-term disability at a low cost
- Continuing Medical Education (CME) allowance of $6,000 per year
