Description

Solid technical skills and/or experience related to fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems.

Solid programming skills and proven ability to troubleshoot problems and look for solutions.

Must be a self-starter and work well with direct supervision.

Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude (e.g. works with a variety of hand and power tools such as drill, screwdriver, wire stripper, hacksaw, crimper).

A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Ability to travel locally to jobsites on a regular basis. Minimal overnight travel may be required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Acts as a trusted service provider by delivering exceptional customer support and ensuring client satisfaction on every service call.

Responds to scheduled maintenance, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency service requests. Diagnoses, repairs, replaces defective components, and debugs electronic security systems to restore functionality and minimize downtime.

Utilizes strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues related to access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and other low-voltage security systems.

Evaluates service requirements, determines appropriate solutions, performs repairs and upgrades, and communicates recommendations to customers in a professional manner.

Completes detailed service documentation and reports to support accurate project tracking, invoicing, and customer records.

Assists with system upgrades, programming, integrations, database management, audits, and network-connected security systems as needed.

Installs, configures, and supports a variety of electronic security and low-voltage systems in commercial and industrial environments.

Performs all work in accordance with company policies, customer requirements, and applicable safety regulations.

Collaborates with internal teams, project managers, and customers to improve service delivery and operational efficiency.

Maintains a high level of professionalism, customer service, and technical expertise while working independently in the field.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $42.00/hr.
