The primary roles and responsibilities of the General Utility are to safely work assisting in the production of linerboard within various areas of the mill.

Responsibilities\n
\n

· Operate heavy equipment including, but not limited to forklifts, overhead cranes, frontend loaders and dump trucks. Work as part of a team. The ability to tolerate extreme temperatures while performing manual labor task. Depending upon the area you will work in, the environmental conditions can be hot, cold, dusty, greasy, and wet. Punctuality and attendance are essential to the success of the operations in general as well as contributing to an overall positive team atmosphere. Work rotating shifts, which include weekends and nights. Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures/guidelines must be adhered to at all times. This includes safety wear such as hard hats, goggles, hearing protection and work boots with metatarsal protection. Moderate to loud noise levels in plant

Requires a Silver Level or better on the Career Readiness Certificate to be considered for entry level into the mill
