Job Description
Our organization is a multi-specialty group practice with over 650 providers, presenting an exceptional leadership opportunity for a Fellowship Trained, Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist. We invite you to join a well-established team comprising three MFM physicians, a genetic counselor, and four sonographers. This position entails providing physician leadership and oversight for our Maternal Fetal Medicine Service Line while collaborating closely with both Administrative and Clinical leadership. This dynamic role allows you to influence and enhance our Maternal Fetal program within a mission-driven organization committed to making a significant impact on the communities we serve. The work schedule is a standard week, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with consultative phone calls required on weekends; you will need to cover seven call shifts each month. The position involves a balanced split between Nampa and Boise, with a focus of 0.8 on clinical duties and 0.2 on administrative tasks.
Rounds in Labor and Delivery (L&D) are multidisciplinary, involving MFM specialists, OB Hospitalists, L&D unit coordinators, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, case managers, and often nursing and pharmacy students.
As a military-friendly employer, we are proud to assist physicians transitioning from military service to civilian practice. Our team includes several veteran physicians who understand the unique challenges faced during this transition and are dedicated to fostering a welcoming and supportive environment that empowers physicians to thrive in their civilian careers.
