Specialty: Critical Care Will take NP or PA Coverage Needs: Need ASAP - Ongoing 7 on - 7 off 8/17-8/23 8/31-9/6 9/14-9/20 9/28-10/4 10/12-10/18 10/26-11/1 11/9-11/15 11/23-11/29 12/7-12/13 12/21-12/27 Shifts: 7p-7a Setting: Open ICU model Will need to manage ICU patients 49 licensed beds; 6 ICU beds Will have Supervising Physician Census: Avg 22 2-4 admits per day Procedures: Indirect Laryngoscopy Intubation Insertion and Management of Central Venous Catheters Insertion and Management of Arterial Catheters Moderate Sedation Lumbar Puncture Endotracheal Intubation and Extubation Ventilator Management Including Readiness for And Administering Respirator Weaning/Oxygen Therapy and Extubation. Assessing Need for Intubation Insertion of Arterial Lines, Central Venous Lines Either Percutaneously or By Cut Down Chest Tube Insertion Tracheostomy care including tube change Arterial Line Insertion and Removal (Radial and Femoral) CVC Line Placement External Pacing Including Adjusting Temporary Epicardial, Transvenous Or Transcutaneous Pacemaker as necessary management of Tension Pneumothorax in Emergent Situation Paracentesis EMR: EPIC w/ Dragon Board Certification: BC/BE Required Travel: Hospital will cover Credentialing timeline: Can fast track for ASAP start Requirements: Active MI state license or compact license Active DEA in MI or willing to transfer ACLS, BLS
