We are on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic Family Medicine physician to become part of our team at the Rivertown Primary Care office located in Grandville, MI. This role presents a fantastic chance to significantly influence the health of our community while thriving in a supportive, mission-oriented setting.

  • Our Rivertown Primary Care facility provides comprehensive primary care services to patients across all age groups.
  • The physician will oversee their own patient panel, delivering primary care services that include diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care for all ages.
  • While experience in providing prenatal care is welcomed, it is not a requirement for this position.
  • The facility also features services such as Podiatry, Urgent Care, Physical Therapy, Laboratory, and X-ray.
  • Currently, the practice consists of 3 physicians and 5 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
  • Physicians will engage in 34 hours of direct patient care along with 6 hours dedicated to administrative tasks, spread over 4 to 4.5 days per week. Leadership is open to offering flexibility to ensure a balanced schedule for all.
  • Shared unrestricted call coverage with fellow family medicine physicians in the group promotes an excellent work-life balance.

Qualifications

  • Open to both experienced professionals and new graduates.
  • Physicians must be board certified in their respective specialty or achieve certification within the timeframe set by the relevant specialty board.
  • Possession of an active Michigan medical license (or the ability to obtain one).
  • DEA license required.
  • BLS certification (must be maintained) / ACLS certification (must be maintained).

Responsibilities

A typical day may involve:

  • Delivering direct patient care.
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Engaging in teaching and mentoring activities.
  • Documenting patient information in Epic EMR.
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Supporting community health initiatives.
