Registered Dental Hygienist

We are seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our expanding general dentistry practice in High Point, where we prioritize a vibrant and professional work environment. About Us

• A bustling private practice with two doctors, three full-time hygienists, and one part-time hygienist.
• Completely digital and paperless, utilizing Dentrix Ascend software, in-house CEREC milling, digital scanning, and CBCT technology.
• We will create a hygiene schedule designed to support new graduates transitioning into private practice. All new patient appointments are scheduled for 80 minutes, while scaling and root planing sessions also last 80 minutes, and recare appointments are 50-60 minutes.
• A dedicated hygiene assistant is available full-time, allowing you to concentrate on patient care and education.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform initial oral screenings and review patients' oral health histories.
• Utilize an intraoral camera to enhance patient education.
• Accurately document probing depths and identify signs of gingival and periodontal diseases.
• Conduct prophylaxis and scaling/root planing procedures.
• Provide oral hygiene education to patients of all ages, using the intraoral camera as a teaching tool.
• Take X-rays as needed.
• Maintain thorough documentation and patient charts.

Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrated experience as a Dental Hygienist or in a similar capacity.
• Comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to the field (e.g., HIPAA).
• Exceptional communication abilities.
• A friendly and patient demeanor.
• Strong attention to detail.
• A valid license to practice dental hygiene.

Work Hours:

• Monday/Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Tuesday/Thursday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Alternating Fridays: 7:00 AM - 2:00 PM

• $42 - $50 per hour.
