The organization is currently in search of a Board Certified/Board Eligible Non-invasive Cardiologist with expertise in Advanced Cardiac Structural Imaging to become a part of our team at Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center located in Hartford, Connecticut.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
  • Completed residency training accredited by the US ACGME.
  • Fellowship training in Cardiac Imaging.
  • Proficient in multimodality cardiac imaging, especially in advanced transthoracic echocardiography, stress echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, cardiac CT, and nuclear cardiology; expertise in Cardiac MRI is a plus.
  • Must hold a valid medical license in Connecticut.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure timely interpretation, medical quality, accuracy, and appropriateness of digital cardiac procedures performed.
  • Share oversight responsibilities for the reading pool.
  • Manage Echo lab operations, ensuring the quality and accuracy of imaging procedures while maintaining Echo Quality Assurance IAC standards.
  • Lead our Echo School, including program planning, conducting reads with students, and maintaining accreditation.
  • Conduct consultations and testing, providing care in both outpatient clinic and hospital environments.
  • Collaborate effectively with cardiac care teams.
  • Hold an academic appointment at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and the Frank H. Netter MD School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University.
