HGV Class 1 Driver - Days

Class 1 HGV Driver (Days) Location: Croydon Pay Rate: £17.00 per hour Shift Pattern: Day Shifts Job Type: Ongoing | Temp to Perm Opportunities Available Pin Point Recruitment is currently recruiting Class 1 HGV Drivers on behalf of a busy logistics operation for ongoing day shift work based in Croydon. This is an excellent opportunity to secure regular work with a well-established transport operation, with consistent hours and the opportunity to secure a permanent position for the right candidate. Duties Include * Completing scheduled deliveries and collections. * Conducting daily vehicle walk-round checks. * Ensuring loads are secured safely before transport. * Completing delivery paperwork and PODs accurately. * Maintaining compliance with Drivers' Hours Regulations and Working Time Directive. * Providing excellent customer service at delivery points. * Reporting any vehicle defects or delivery issues promptly. * Working safely and professionally at all times. Requirements * Valid UK Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence. * Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card. * Valid Digital Tachograph Card. * Minimum 6 months' Class 1 driving experience preferred. * No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN endorsements). * Good knowledge of Drivers' Hours Regulations. * Reliable, professional and safety focused. * Flexible approach to work.
