HGV Technician – Croydon 💷 £60,000 - £70,000 per year 🕒 Day Shift + Saturday Rota 📚 Overtime & Ongoing Training Available We’re currently recruiting an experienced HGV Technician for a busy and well-established commercial vehicle workshop in Croydon. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified technician who prefers a day shift pattern while still benefiting from excellent earning potential, overtime opportunities and long-term career development. The role Working within a professional workshop environment, you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of heavy commercial vehicles to the highest standards of safety and quality. Key responsibilities * Routine servicing and preventative maintenance * Mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis * Repairs and component replacement * MOT preparation and compliance checks * Use of diagnostic equipment * Accurate completion of workshop documentation What we’re looking for * Level 3 qualification in HGV / Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (essential) * Previous commercial vehicle experience * Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills * Ability to work independently and within a team * Professional and reliable attitude Shift pattern * Day shifts * Saturday rota included What’s on offer * 💰 £60,000 - £70,000 per year * Overtime opportunities available * Manufacturer and technical training * Modern workshop facilities * Stable, full-time permanent role * Excellent career progression opportunities '57; Please note: Applicants must already have the unrestricted right to work in the UK.
