You'll be responsible for building occupancy, leading a high-performing team, maintaining outstanding standards of care and ensuring the home becomes the provider of choice within the local community.The RoleAs Registered Manager, you will take full operational responsibility for the home, ensuring exceptional care delivery whilst achieving commercial and operational objectives.Your responsibilities will include:Leading the successful ongoing development of the serviceDriving occupancy through excellent stakeholder relationships and local networkingManaging the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirementsCreating a positive, supportive and high-performing culture for your teamDelivering person-centred care that promotes dignity, independence and choiceManaging budgets, financial performance and key operational KPIsProviding clinical leadership and promoting best practice throughout the homeEnsuring the service consistently meets and exceeds CQC standardsLeading recruitment, development, supervision and performance management of staffOverseeing infection prevention and control within the serviceMaintaining excellent relationships with residents, relatives, healthcare professionals and external agenciesChampioning continuous improvement across all aspects of the homeAbout YouWe're looking for a confident and commercially aware leader who combines excellent people management skills with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional care.You'll ideally have:Previous experience as a Registered Manager within an elderly care or nursing homeA proven track record of improving occupancy and driving business performanceStrong financial and commercial awareness, including budget managementExcellent leadership, communication and relationship-building skillsExperience managing CQC compliance and quality standardsEvidence of ongoing professional developmentA recognised care management qualification (ILM, RMA or equivalent) is desirableNMC registration is desirable but not essentialIf you're an ambitious Registered Manager looking for your next challenge and want to play a pivotal role in transforming a service into one of Cornwall's leading care homes, we'd love to hear from you.INDPTPBN1_UKTJ
