Field Service EngineerUK Wide Home Based with Regular Workshop Time in Milton KeynesWe are currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join a well-established and highly respected engineering business supplying specialist testing equipment.This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically biased engineer looking to join a business that invests in training and development, offering a varied role covering field service, calibration, testing, maintenance, and equipment support across the UK.Package & Benefits£45,000 basic salaryCompany van provided (personal use permitted)Home-based roleComprehensive product and industry trainingLong-term career development opportunitiesThe Role Field Service EngineerAs a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, testing, and supporting a range of specialist equipment.Working from home, the workshop and travelling across the UK, you will attend customer sites to carry out inspections, repairs, fault finding, commissioning activities, and preventative maintenance.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned maintenance and reactive repairs on customer equipmentDiagnose and resolve mechanical and hydraulic faultsUndertake equipment inspections, servicing, and performance checksSupport commissioning and installation activities at customer sitesComplete service documentation and technical reportsCarry out fault-finding on basic electrical systems and control componentsReplace electrical components, including circuit boards and associated hardwareSupport workshop-based servicing, testing, and equipment preparation activitiesRequirementsEssentialPrevious experience working on the roadExperience working with hydraulic systemsAbility to diagnose and repair mechanical faultsBasic electrical knowledge and fault-finding capabilityComfortable replacing electrical components such as circuit boardsFull UK driving licenceWillingness to travel throughout the UK with occasional overnight staysDesirable, but not requiredCalibration experienceEquipment testing experienceExperience working within highly regulated industriesKnowledge of civil engineering, construction, laboratory, or materials testing equipmentTo ApplyTo apply for the Field Service Engineer position, contact:Todd McGreevy at , or on 01296 737313INDMIDDue to the volume of applications we receive, unfortunately we are not able to respond to every application individually.
