Site Manager

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a well-established contractor delivering planned refurbishment works across Sheffield and the surrounding Yorkshire region .This is a temporary opportunity overseeing roofing replacement and window installation projects within occupied social housing properties.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple refurbishment sites, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to the highest quality standards while maintaining excellent customer service.Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day site operations across planned refurbishment projectsOversee roofing replacement and window installation programmes across Sheffield and the surrounding areaLead and supervise direct labour and subcontractors on siteEnsure works are delivered safely, efficiently and within programmeMaintain high standards of quality, site presentation and customer satisfactionEnsure full compliance with Health & Safety policies and proceduresCarry out site inductions for all operatives, subcontractors and visitorsMaintain accurate site records, including Health & Safety documentationMonitor environmental and waste management complianceOrganise and chair regular site meetingsPlan labour, materials and resources to ensure efficient project deliveryReport progress, programme updates and site issues to the Project ManagerSupport, motivate and manage site teams to achieve project objectivesEnsure all works comply with company procedures and client specificationsRequirements: Previous experience working as a Site Manager on planned refurbishment or construction projectsExperience managing roofing, window replacement or planned maintenance programmesExperience supervising both direct labour and subcontractorsExperience working within the social housing sector is desirableSMSTS Certificate (Essential)NVQ Level 4, HNC or equivalent experienceFull UK Driving LicenceStrong organisational, communication and leadership skillsBenefits: £200 - £250 per dayTemporary assignment with a leading property services contractorMonday to Friday workingCompany van and fuel cardOpportunity to work on a busy planned refurbishment programmeSupportive project teamWeekly payIf you're interested in this Site Manager role in Sheffield , please apply online or contact Alex on 07488 866 703 for more information.TPBN1_UKTJ
