Electrical Project Engineer Deeside / North West Capital Projects £46-50k + overtime + 10% Pension + Quarterly Bonus + BUPASamuel Frank is recruiting for an Electrical Project Engineer to join a major manufacturing site in the Deeside area. This is an opportunity to work as part of a projects team on electrically biased capital projects from concept through to commissioning on a site that is investing heavily in plant improvements and long-term development.The successful Electrical Project Engineer will manage the full lifecycle of CapEx and plant improvement projects, working closely with operations, maintenance, contractors and suppliers to safely deliver projects on time and within budget.This role could suit a qualified Project Engineer with as little as 2 years relevant experience.Key aspects of the Electrical Project Engineer role includeExcellent communication; strong project, stakeholder and contract management skillsDelivering electrically biased capital projects from concept, design and specification through to installation, commissioning and handoverProducing project plans, progress reports and governance documentation in line with recognised project management principlesDeveloping electrical engineering specifications, risk assessments, management of change documentation and HAZOP documentationManaging equipment suppliers and installation activities on siteSupporting plant improvement, process enhancement and manufacturing development projectsWorking closely with engineering, production, procurement, finance and HSE teams throughout project deliveryDegree or HND/HNC qualified in Electrical EngineeringPrevious experience delivering CapEx projects within heavy industry, manufacturing, process, metals, chemical, utilities or similar environments is preferred or any continuous process line style manufacturing environmentKnowledge of functional safety, CDM regulations, machinery safety, Siemens or Rockwell PLCs, AC/DC drives and instrumentation would be advantageousThe company offers a generous benefits package including a 10% pension contribution, quarterly bonus, BUPA, 28 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, annual pay review, professional membership subscriptions and support towards further qualifications.The site is easily commutable from Deeside, Chester, Wrexham, Ellesmere Port, Liverpool, Runcorn, Widnes, Northwich and Warrington.TPBN1_UKTJ
