If you're a customer-focused engineer with experience installing, commissioning and maintaining technical equipment, we'd love to hear from you.About the RoleYou'll install, commission, maintain and troubleshoot equipment at customer sites across the UK, ensuring every project is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.Working closely with Project Managers, Commissioning Managers and support teams, you'll play a key role in delivering an excellent customer experience while maintaining operational excellence.Key responsibilities includeInstalling, commissioning, servicing and fault-finding equipment at customer sitesConducting inspections, testing and commissioning activitiesCompleting service reports, commissioning records and site documentationWorking safely and complying with RAMS, permit systems and HSE requirementsIdentifying and resolving technical issues, escalating where appropriateCoordinating site activities with project and support teamsSupporting urgent customer call-outs when requiredMaintaining tools, test equipment, vehicles and spare partsBuilding strong customer relationships through professional serviceSharing feedback to support continuous improvementWhat You'll BringEssentialExperience in field service, installation, commissioning or maintenance within an engineering environmentStrong fault-finding and problem-solving skillsExperience interpreting technical documentation and proceduresGood understanding of safe systems of work and risk managementExcellent customer service and communication skillsStrong organisational skills and the ability to work independentlyFull UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwideDesirableElectrical, networking or engineering qualificationsExperience with ticketing systems or engineering softwareUtilities, energy or industrial sector experienceKnowledge of HV or LV or both monitoring equipment or similar technologiesWhat We OfferWe believe in investing in our people and offer a competitive package that includes:Competitive salary (dependent on experience)25 days annual leave plus bank holidaysFlexible working options8% employer pension contribution (or cash alternative)Private Medical Insurance (or cash alternative)Group Life Assurance, Income Protection and Critical Illness cover (or cash alternatives)Holiday buy and sell scheme (up to five days)Cycle to Work schemePayment of one relevant professional membershipLong service awardsEnhanced company sick payGenuine career development opportunitiesA collaborative, supportive culture where your contribution is recognised and valued.Important Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
