You'll work with a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses, limited companies, partnerships and sole traders across a range of sectors, gaining exposure to accounts, audit and tax work.The role is predominantly focused on accounts preparation and tax compliance, whilst also offering regular audit exposure (approximately 25% of the role) and the opportunity to review work prepared by junior members of the team.Key Responsibilities:Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for a varied portfolio of clientsPreparing and reviewing corporation tax returnsPreparing and reviewing VAT returnsPreparing personal tax returnsWorking on / leading audit assignments from planning through to completion (approximately 25% of the role)Liaising directly with clients and responding to day-to-day queriesSupporting with ad hoc assignments and technical projectsQualifications & SkillsACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent), or qualified by experience with relevant practice experienceRecent experience working within a UK accountancy practiceConfident in preparing and reviewing statutory accounts and corporation tax returnsPersonal tax experienceCapable of leading audits from planning to completion, or experience in assisting on auditsStrong communication and organisational skillsWhat You'll Get:A genuinely varied role across accounts, audit and taxExposure to a broad and interesting client portfolioOpportunity to further develop your review and technical skillsFriendly, collaborative and supportive team environmentCompetitive salary and benefitsIf you are interested in this role, please do apply now.TPBN1_UKTJ
