Development Project Manager (Engineer)

SG Technologies - part of the Neo Performance Materials Group, is a global leader in the production of high-performance magnetic components and assemblies. Our products are shipped worldwide to high end automotive and consumer products customers such as Bosch, Caterpillar, and YASA.We are looking for a Development Project Manager (Engineer) to join our team and lead activities on new product introductions and product improvements.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment.Responsibilities will include:Working on customer driven projects, ensuring that projects run to scheduleEstablishing production routes for new parts, including Pressing, Heat Treatment, Post Processing e.g. Machining, Dimensional studies, Magnetic Testing and Materials TestingEnsuring correct product introduction (APQP) is maintainedEvaluating customer specificationsWriting technical specifications for SGT processesEnsuring products are able to run in a stable and robust manor through trials and evaluation of dataRequired Skills and Experience:University Degree in Engineering discipline.Ideally have minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role within Automotive industryAbility to achieve objectives through teamwork and influenceDisciplined and logical approach to goal setting and problem solvingHaving a hands-on approach in completing tasks and activitiesAbility to communicate with all parties involved in projects including external partiesWork pattern:Full time 37.5-hour week Monday to Thursday 8.30am 5pm, Friday 8.30am 2.30pm.After successfully passing probation, you will be eligible to use our flexitime system working around a core hour system with the potential to work a 9-day fortnight.Benefits include:Training and career development opportunities25 days holiday (plus Bank Holidays)Life Assurance 3x annual salaryPension contributions matched up to 7%Refer a friend bonus schemeEye Care vouchersEmployee Assistance ProgramStrictly no agencies pleaseTPBN1_UKTJ
