QA Software Tester

A dynamic software development team are seeking a QA Software Tester to join the team in Liverpool to build leading asset management technology used across the lifting and rigging sector.What You'll Be Doing as QA Software Tester:Test Planning Build and maintain test plans, test cases, and scripts for every piece of software before it reaches a customer.Functional & Regression Testing Run functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across the platform, then track defects through to resolution.Automation with Playwright Design, build, and maintain automated test suites, integrating them into the CI/CD pipeline to keep releases fast and reliable.Defect Management Log and prioritise issues in JIRA, producing clear, reproducible bug reports the dev team can actually act on.Collaboration Work closely with developers and product owners throughout the development lifecycle, helping build a genuine quality-first culture.What We're Looking For in the QA Software Tester:Previous experience as a QA Tester or Software Testerwithin a software development supplier.Hands-on experience with Playwrightfor web automation, end-to-end testing, and scripting.Strong test design and execution skills across functional, regression and exploratory testing.Experience with JIRA or similar defect/project management tools.Sharp attention to detail you spot the edge cases others miss.Clear communicator, comfortable explaining issues to technical and non-technical people alike.What's In It For You:£32,000 - £40,000 Salary33 days holiday (including bank holidays)Staff pensionLiverpool-based role with a tight-knit, quality-driven dev teamCasual dressFree parkingOnsite parkingIf this sounds like the QA Software Tester role for you, click apply now.You must be able to commute to Liverpool on a daily basis and have "the right to work" status.Candidate Source Ltd is an advertising agency.
