We are seeking an Employee Relations Advisor to join a dynamic team on a 7-month fixed-term contract (with potential for extension). Responsibilities

\n
    \n
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to managers on employee relations matters.
  • \n
  • Managing ER cases from start to finish, including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances, and appeals.
  • \n
  • Ensuring all ER matters are handled fairly, consistently, and in line with employment legislation and company policies.
  • \n
  • Supporting managers with short-term absence management, probation reviews, and flexible working requests.
  • \n
  • Coaching and upskilling managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • \n
  • Analyzing and reporting on people data, including absence trends and ER metrics.
  • \n
  • Occasionally delivering training sessions and workshops on workplace policies and people-related topics.
  • \n
  • Collaborating with the wider HR team to enhance the overall employee experience.
  • \n
  • Traveling to other sites occasionally
  • \n

Qualifications

\n
    \n
  • Proven experience providing HR and employee relations advice.
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations processes, policies, and UK employment law.
  • \n
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and support stakeholders at all levels.
  • \n
  • A positive, proactive, and approachable attitude.
  • \n
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • \n
  • Confidence using HR systems and IT packages, including HR reporting tools.
  • \n
  • A solutions-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • \n
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (preferred but not essential).
  • \n
  • Knowledge of Dutch employment law (advantageous but not essential).
  • \n
  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.
  • \n
