Salary from £38,000 (depending on experience)Company vehiclePermanent, full-time position (37.5 hours per week)Shift pattern: Week 1: Monday-Friday, 6:00am-2:00pmWeek 2: Monday-Friday, 10:00am-6:00pmOn-call rotaOngoing training and career progressionThe Role As a Mobile Mechanical Engineer, you'll work across multiple school and healthcare sites, ensuring mechanical systems remain safe, compliant, and fully operational.Your duties will include:Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on HVAC, boilers, pumps, heating, ventilation and water systems.Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults.Completing reactive maintenance and breakdown repairs.Undertaking minor mechanical installations and upgrades.Identifying and ordering replacement parts.Maintaining accurate job records using CAFM systems.Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations.What We're Looking For You'll ideally have:NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds qualification in Plumbing or a relevant mechanical discipline.A recognised engineering apprenticeship.Previous experience within a building maintenance or facilities management environment.A full UK driving licence.Experience working within education, healthcare or large estate environments (desirable).Competent Person/Authorised Person experience relating to ventilation and/or pressure systems (desirable).The ability to successfully pass an Enhanced DBS with Barred Lists check.Benefits In addition to a competitive salary, you'll receive:24 days annual leave plus bank holidays (rising to 25 days after two years)Company vehicleLife assurance (1.5x annual salary)Employee discounts at major retailersGym membership discountsCycle to Work SchemeHoliday purchase schemeTwo paid Corporate Social Responsibility days each yearOngoing professional development and funded trainingEmployee referral rewardsAccess to employee support networks24/7 Employee Assistance Programme and wellbeing appApply Today!
