Working alongside experienced colleagues, you'll learn how effective communication contributes to culture, engagement and business performance.Your responsibilities will include:Assisting with the creation and distribution of internal communicationsDrafting content for colleague newsletters, announcements and company updatesSupporting colleague engagement campaigns and initiativesHelping maintain internal communication channels and content platformsGathering information and stories from departments across the businessProviding general administrative support to the Internal Communications teamWhat You'll NeedA positive attitude and willingness to learnStrong written and verbal communication skillsGood organisational skills and attention to detailCreativity and an interest in content creationConfidence using computers and learning new systemsA proactive and flexible approach to workGood time management skills and the ability to meet deadlinesAbility to work effectively as part of a teamAn interest in Communications, Marketing, Employee Engagement or Business AdministrationQualificationsGood standard of English and MathsBasic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel (desirable but not essential)About Heron FoodsHeron Foods is part of the B&M Group and operates 340+ stores across the UK.
