Senior Litigation Paralegal / Chartered Legal Executive

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Litigation Paralegal/Chartered Legal Executive to join our thriving Consumer Finance team, primarily based in our Southampton office but with hybrid working available. You will manage your own case load of finance litigation matters which may include:defended/disputed debt recovery mattersreturn of goods claimsinnocent purchaser claimssatisfactory quality disputesJudgment enforcementad hoc consumer/B2B finance related disputesdealing with trial preparation and/or interim applicationsadvising clients in respect of any technical regulatory queriesPractical training will be given to you to assist you with your tasks which will include use of our Case Management Systems and/or client systems, where appropriate.The successful candidate will be a proactive member of a team with a can do attitude.Skills / Experience Required Legal background/previous experience within a law firm, although this does not have to be within debt recoveryMust be willing to undertake a credit check processGood GCSEs and/or A LevelsIT literate proven Microsoft Excel experience at intermediate levelNegotiation skillsAttention to detailStrong team player with the ability to work on own initiativeEnthusiastic and positive attitudeConfident communicator with an excellent telephone mannerAbility to work in a fast paced environmentGood understanding of client service internally and externally.
