360 Excavator Operator Telecoms CivilsLocation: Edinburgh,Rate: £18.50 per hourContract: Ad-hoc / ongoing opportunities availablePertemps is recruiting experienced 360 Excavator Operators to support telecoms civil engineering projects across Edinburgh, Glasgow, and surrounding areas.The role will involve working on telecoms infrastructure projects, including the installation and removal of telecoms infrastructure, cabinet foundations, ducting, and associated civil engineering works.Key responsibilities:Excavation for telecoms cabinet and monopole foundationsDuct installation and duct diversionsInstallation of draw pits and chambersShuttering and formworkConcrete foundation preparation and backfillingWorking safely around live underground servicesSupporting groundworkers when requiredMaintaining a clean and safe working environmentEssential requirements:CPCS or NPORS 360 Excavator Operator qualificationCSCS cardPrevious experience within civil engineering and utility/telecoms worksAbility to work from construction drawings and site instructionsGood understanding of safe excavation practicesReliable, punctual, and professional approachDesirable (not essential):NRSWA Operative qualificationCAT & Genny trainingExperience working on Ericsson, MBNL, EE, Vodafone, or Openreach projectsAdditional training will be provided where required.Initially, these positions will be offered on an ad-hoc basis, with the potential for regular ongoing work for the right candidates as projects continue to expand across Scotland.To apply, please send:Updated CVCPCS/NPORS and CSCS cardsRelevant training certificatesAvailabilityAreas you are willing to travel within ScotlandApply today to discuss upcoming opportunities.TPBN1_UKTJ
