University Centre Peterborough is looking for a proactive and student-focused individual to join our Higher Education team as a HE Student Coordinator.This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in enhancing the student experience, supporting wellbeing, and helping students successfully continue, achieve and progress throughout their Higher Education journey.Working at Peterborough, you will lead and coordinate the Student Support Advisor team while acting as a central point of guidance and support for students, academic staff and wider stakeholders across both campuses.We offer flexibility in how your hours are worked across the week. You can choose to work four full days or spread your hours over five days, depending on what works best for you.About the Role In this varied and impactful role, the HE Student Coordinator will:Lead and support the Student Support Advisor team across Peterborough and StamfordProvide impartial advice and guidance to HE students on welfare, academic processes, student finance and support servicesMonitor attendance, retention and student engagement, identifying and supporting students at riskCoordinate interventions and support plans to improve student outcomes and satisfactionWork closely with academic teams, Additional Learning Support and external agencies to ensure students receive appropriate supportSupport compliance with Office for Students (OfS) requirements, awarding body regulations and institutional policiesCoordinate wellbeing initiatives, hardship support and student engagement activitiesProduce reports and contribute to committees focused on student achievement and experienceMaintain accurate student records and ensure confidentiality at all timesAbout You We are looking for someone who is highly organised, approachable and passionate about supporting students in Higher Education.Our next HE Student Coordinator will ideally have:Experience within a student support, education or customer-focused environmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExperience coordinating teams or servicesThe ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism and empathyExcellent organisational skills and attention to detailConfidence working with data, systems and reporting processesAn understanding of student wellbeing, safeguarding and inclusivityExperience within Higher Education or knowledge of student finance and OfS requirements would be advantageous.If this sounds like the perfect role for you please apply now!Why work for IEG?Generous Leave: 30 days of annual leave, plus Bank Holidays and Christmas close down.
