Description Millison Chase Limited Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced HGV C+E Class 1 Drivers on behalf of a professional family-run transport operation based in Erdington .Our client specialises in general haulage and 3PL distribution services, collecting, decanting, and re-palletising goods for onward redistribution to Aldi and Lidl RDC and NDC operations nationwide.We are looking for reliable and professional drivers for ongoing full-time work. Shifts typically consist of between 2 and 3 deliveries to RDC and NDC locations, with occasional return collections from commercial businesses and distribution sites. Drivers will be responsible for ensuring all deliveries and collections are completed safely, efficiently, and on time while maintaining excellent customer service and transport compliance standards.This role involves self-tip deliveries using an electric pallet truck and handling palletised goods safely and professionally.The fleet used for this operation is highly desirable and maintained to an exceptionally high standard, with modern, well-specced vehicles designed for driver comfort and operational efficiency. Drivers are expected to take pride in their vehicle, ensuring trucks are kept clean and presentable while also maintaining load restraint equipment and strapping in good condition as part of their daily responsibilities.This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established family-run operation offering regular work, quality equipment, and a supportive transport team environment.Pay Progression Days: £17.93 per hourNights: £19.05 per hourWeekends: Up to £21.29 per hourWeekly PAYE pay directly through Millison Chase LimitedOngoing regular work availableResponsibilities Completing general haulage and 3PL distribution deliveriesCollecting, decanting, and re-distributing palletised goodsDelivering to Aldi and Lidl RDC and NDC locations nationwideCompleting between 2 and 3 drops per shiftCarrying out occasional return collections from commercial businesses and distribution sitesCompleting self-tip deliveries using an electric pallet truckEnsuring all loads are secured safely and correctlyCarrying out daily vehicle checks and defect reportingMaintaining vehicle cleanliness and load restraint equipmentEnsuring all transport paperwork is completed accuratelyFollowing all drivers hours and tachograph regulationsOperating vehicles safely and professionally at all timesMaintaining excellent customer service standardsRequirements Applicants must hold:Valid UK HGV C+E (Class 1) LicenceValid Driver CPC CardDigital Tachograph CardMinimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience (for insurance purposes)Experience with self-tip deliveries preferredGood communication and timekeeping skillsDrivers should be:Reliable and punctualComfortable using electric pallet trucksFlexible with working hours and shift patternsAble to work independently and as part of a teamProfessional in appearance and attitudeTake pride in maintaining vehicles and equipment to a high standardPlease note:Millison Chase Limited does not sponsor work visas.
