Information Disclosure Officer

As part of the team working in Police Scotland you can make a real difference by supporting our officers and staff across the second largest police force in the UK.An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of the Information Disclosure Team. We are looking for an Information Disclosure Officer to join the team.This role plays a key part in processing requests in all matters covering Subject Access, Freedom of Information and the Protection of Vulnerable Groups, making sure requests are handled lawfully, on time, and in a clear and helpful way.Key responsibilities of the role include:You will conduct research on police systems to allow you to process requests to comply with the Forces obligations under the Data Protection Act, Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act and Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act.
