Contracts ManagerCala Consulting are recruiting a Contracts Manager for their award-winning client. The company d eliver bespoke projects for a wide range of clients throughout the UK and Ireland.The role will entail supporting the Projects department in a range of activities as they continue to provide a high standard fit-out service for their blue chip and independent clients.Responsibilities and DutiesSuccessfully managing commercial construction projects from concept through to completionEnsure the on-time delivery of all projectsCollaborate with the client, design team and subcontractors during the entire projectEnsure subcontractors carry out the required works and actively appraise their performanceLiaise with senior team to make sure that the highest level of standards are met and maintained whilst applying the companys procedures and cultureDevelop detailed contract programmes and sequence of worksImplement and monitor Health & Safety and ensure environmental and quality compliance is maintained on site.Attend and lead on site project meetings when required ensuring clients are kept informed at all stages.Produce regular reports for review of works completed.A willingness to mentor other members of the construction teamImplement zero snagging/defects on all projectsEssential CriteriaDegree in a construction disciplineMinimum of 10 years post qualification experience of working with a main contracting construction companyCSR Black CardExperience of delivering fast track construction methods, fit-out and refurbishment worksA good understanding of mechanical and electrical systemsExperience of project management procedures and best practiceExperience in taking the lead on design and build projectsStrong leadership interpersonal and people management skills are essentialCommercial awareness is essentialPrevious experience of managing and leading a teamThe ability to influence and negotiate at a senior levelExcellent communication skills verbal and writtenGood IT skills with knowledge of all packages Outlook, Excel, Word and ProjectClean driving licenseQuality driven.
