We proudly employ over 4000+ people - no matter what your experience, we have jobs for everyone.Mental Health experience essential.We have an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader to join our friendly and experienced team at our Bilberry Lodge service in Rishton, a specialist residential service that provides rehabilitation, care, and support to vulnerable women with complex mental health issues.Purposefully small, Bilberry Lodge has a capacity for up to 6 female residents, allowing for a calm, relaxing environment. There is a large lounge area where residents can convene and interact in a communal setting during their recovery.What you'll be working:Days with night shifts when required08.00-20.30 days, 20.00-08.30 nights37.5 HoursMonday - SundayAlternate Weekends£27,179.54 (FTE) Per annum (Pro rata)What you'll be doing:Build relationships with the people we support, which are open and two-waySupport to undertake their rehabilitation programmeEstablish methods of communication with the people we support, reducing barriers when necessarySupport with activities of daily living and personal care when neededCommunicate any issues to the clinical teamAccurately report and/or record work activitiesTo be part of the on-call teamComplete supervision of Support WorkersWhat you'll have:Strong organisational, time management, planning and communication skills.Flexible, professional, and positive approach.Level 3 NVQ or QCF Diploma in Health & Social Care or be willing to work towards.Sound working knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act (MCA) and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS)Proven reliability in terms of full attendance and timekeeping.Ability to work as part of a team and as an individual.Self-confidence and ability to manage challenging situationsAbility to address and respond to employee issues in a fair and consistent manner.Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBSWe also want to ensure that individuals with disabilities are provided reasonable facilities to participate in job applications or interviews to perform essential job functions.
