Job Title: Quality EngineerLocation: CoventrySalary: CompetitiveContract: PermanentRole Overview – Quality EngineerAre you an experienced Quality Engineer looking to take ownership of quality performance in a highly regulated engineering environment? This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading aerospace manufacturer as they continue to strengthen their quality function and drive world-class standards across their operations. As a Quality Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring product safety, compliance and reliability across the full value stream. You'll act as a technical specialist for product and process quality, supporting both day-to-day operations and long-term improvement initiatives. This is an on-site position based in Coventry , working closely with engineering, operations, suppliers and customers to uphold industry-leading standards.Key Responsibilities – Quality EngineerSupporting compliance with AS9100, AS13100, AS9102 and other aerospace quality standardsConducting Layered Process Audits, product audits and process auditsReviewing First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) to AS9102 requirementsLeading containment, root cause analysis and corrective action using tools such as 8D, 5-Why and Cause & EffectDriving Zero Defect and continuous improvement initiatives across the value streamAnalysing key quality metrics such as First Pass Yield, defect rates and audit findingsCollaborating with engineering, operations, customers and suppliers to resolve issues and improve quality performanceSupporting APQP activity including PFMEA, Control Plans and PPAPEnsuring documentation, records and compliance evidence are accurate and up to standardKey Experience & Qualifications – Quality EngineerExperience in aerospace or another highly regulated engineering sectorStrong knowledge of AS9100, AS9102 and general quality management system requirementsProficiency in APQP, PFMEA/DFMEA, PPAP and root cause analysis toolsAbility to interpret engineering drawings and technical specificationsA proactive, hands-on approach with excellent communication and stakeholder-management skillsEngineering/technical degree or equivalent industry experienceBenefits – Quality EngineerOutstanding Pension Contribution PlanCompany Bonus SchemeIncome protection and life assurance (3x basic salary).Share purchase program.Early finish on Fridays.Flexible working hours.25 days annual leave plus public holidays.Employee Assistance Program for health and well-being support.Structured career development opportunities.Employee discounts on a wide range of products and services.Employee referral program.For more information on this role, please contact Ben Dawson on 01453 829522 or send your CV toFor details of other opportunities available within your chosen field, please visitOmega is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
