Compensation
Hourly Rate: $53.00 – $57.00+ per hour

Location: Southern Queens & Southwestern Nassau County, NY - Onsite

Position Summary\n

As a CT Technologist, you will perform routine and interventional computed tomography procedures to support accurate diagnosis and exceptional patient care. Working within a community-focused hospital environment, you will utilize advanced imaging technology while collaborating with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality clinical outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to serve a diverse patient population in a mission-driven healthcare setting.

  • Shift details: Day Shift, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

  • Hours per week: Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities available

  • Contract length (if applicable): Direct Hire

Key Duties:

\n
    \n
  • Perform routine and interventional CT procedures in accordance with professional standards and department protocols
  • \n
  • Prepare and administer oral contrast agents as appropriate for imaging studies
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate patient records, imaging documentation, and electronic data within hospital systems
  • \n
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and clinical staff to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services
  • \n
  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and departmental quality initiatives
  • \n
Requirements\n

Education

\n
    \n
  • Required: Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology training program
  • \n
  • Preferred (if applicable): Associate’s Degree
  • \n
\n

Licenses & Certifications

    \n
  • Required:\n
      \n
    • New York State Radiologic Technologist License
    • \n
    • ARRT Certification in CT
    • \n
    • New York State Department of Health Injection Privileges
    • \n
  • \n
  • Additional certifications (if applicable): N/A
  • \n
\n

Skills:

\n
    \n
  • Strong technical knowledge of CT imaging procedures and equipment
  • \n
  • Familiarity with PACS, RIS, EMR, CR, DRX, OR, ER, CT, and Meditech systems preferred
  • \n
  • Excellent patient care and communication skills
  • \n
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • \n
