Job Opportunity: Adult Neuropsychologist

Our organization, a prominent hospital network in central Ohio, is looking to add an Adult Neuropsychologist to the Department of Neurology in Columbus, Ohio.

This role presents a fantastic chance to become part of a well-established neuropsychology practice within a growing Neuroscience Service Line. The primary location for this position will be at the Mount Carmel Grove City campus, situated just 12 miles from downtown Columbus. This facility is integrated with neurology, psychiatry, and neurosurgery clinics, fostering collaboration with neuroscience professionals to enhance and expand related programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct outpatient neuropsychological evaluations.
  • Engage in additional clinical services based on personal interests.
  • Manage referrals primarily from neurology, neurosurgery, and primary care, addressing a diverse patient population, including those with neurodegenerative diseases, stroke, traumatic brain injury (TBI), multiple sclerosis (MS), epilepsy, normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH), tumors, and medically complex cases.
Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or Neuropsychology from an APA-accredited or CPA-accredited institution.
  • Completion of a two-year Neuropsychology fellowship or residency.
  • Eligibility for or attainment of board certification in clinical neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology or the American Board of Professional Neuropsychology.
  • Possession of an Ohio psychology license by the start date.
