Our organization operates three Cath Labs and one Electrophysiology Lab at Leesburg Hospital. Key Responsibilities
  • The Cath Lab CVT Charge, under the guidance of the director or manager, oversees procedures, including all diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral studies, as well as structural heart procedures.
  • This role also involves acting as a scrub assistant.
  • The CVT Charge will contribute to the education and mentoring of students and new hires within the Cath Lab, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and safe patient care.
  • This is a full-time position with day shifts, and on-call duties are required.
Qualifications
  • Education:
    • Associate’s Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy.
    • Alternatively, a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience may be considered.
  • Certifications:
    • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification (to be obtained within 12 months of hire).
    • OR Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (to be obtained within 12 months of hire).
  • Licensure/Certification/Registration:
    • Preferred: Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification.
    • OR Florida Registered Respiratory Therapist license with valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification.
    • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) Certification.
    • OR Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) Certification (to be obtained within 12 months of hire if no degree in the applicable fields).
  • BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
