We are on the lookout for a dedicated and enthusiastic Family Medicine physician to become part of our team at the Ludington Primary Care office in Ludington, MI. Opportunity Overview

  • Ludington is a picturesque beach town along Lake Michigan, known for its stunning beaches, rolling dunes, historic lighthouses, expansive state parks, and rich maritime history.
  • This role is situated within the outpatient department of a local hospital.
  • The position encompasses comprehensive family medicine in a friendly rural community.
  • Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with the physician working in-office for 4 to 4.5 days each week.
  • Alongside primary care, the facility offers convenient on-site access to imaging, laboratory services, rehabilitation, and urgent care, all housed within the same building.
  • The Family Medicine physician will collaborate with a care team that includes two physicians and three advanced practice providers (APPs).
  • Unrestricted call is shared among network physicians, typically occurring every nine weeks, with holiday call rotated among the team.
  • There are opportunities available for teaching residents, medical students, and fellows.

Qualifications

  • Relevant clinical experience is essential.
  • Physicians must be board certified in a relevant area of clinical practice or board eligible, with a commitment to achieving board certification within five years of the start date.
  • Possession of an active Michigan medical license (or the ability to obtain one).
  • DEA license is required.
  • BLS certification (must be maintained) and ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained).
