Practice Overview

The Cardiovascular Group within our organization is a regional cardiology practice consisting of a 10-physician team in Muskegon, delivering comprehensive cardiovascular services to the lakeshore and nearby areas. This group is affiliated with our organization Cardiology in West Michigan and collaborates with the Cardiovascular Network of West Michigan, a partnership between our organization and University of Michigan Health-West.

Additionally, our organization Muskegon boasts a robust Cardio-Thoracic program that enhances the Structural Health initiative and the expanding Electrophysiology services.

We advocate for a strong interdisciplinary care model, incorporating Advanced Practice Professionals, Registered Nurses, and Medical Assistants to support our healthcare providers.

Cardiac Health Management Services:

  • Management of arrhythmias
  • Care for cardiomyopathy
  • Comprehensive consultations, assessments, and tailored treatment plans
  • Congestive Heart Failure Clinic
  • Coumadin testing and education

  • Management of Coronary Artery Disease (CAD)
  • Full-service pacemaker and implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator Clinic with remote monitoring

  • Cardiac catheterizations

Requirements

  • Physicians: Must be board certified in a relevant clinical specialty or board eligible, with the expectation to achieve board certification within five years of the start date (unless earlier certification is mandated by applicable medical staff bylaws).
  • Possession of an active Michigan medical license (or the ability to obtain one).
  • DEA license required.
  • BLS certification (must be maintained).
