About the Clinician's Workday

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will provide individual and group therapy to an adult male correctional population on a full-time day shift schedule totaling 40 hours per week, addressing mental health concerns such as trauma, substance use disorders, severe mental illness, and adjustment-related challenges. The clinician will conduct clinical evaluations, psychosocial assessments, and screenings to develop individualized treatment plans, and will maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements. Crisis intervention responsibilities include responding to behavioral health crises, conducting suicide risk assessments, and stabilizing individuals experiencing acute mental health concerns. The clinician will collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, case managers, correctional staff, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care and support reentry preparation.
