Material Handler

The Material Handler plays a crucial role in managing inventory and ensuring efficient material flow within a regulated manufacturing environment. This role involves physical handling of materials, data entry in ERP systems, and supporting cross-functional teams, all while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform material movements both physically and within ERP systems
• Generate and process work orders using the ERP system
• Conduct cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory records
• Maintain a neat, safe, and compliant work environment
• Assist with coordination and flow of products through manufacturing and assembly
• Work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment
• Handle chemicals safely with proper training (e.g., isopropyl alcohol, sulfuric acid)
• Support company initiatives related to Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS)
• Comply with FDA regulations, company policies, and operating procedures
• Communicate effectively with employees, contractors, vendors, and customers
• Work overtime as needed to meet business demands
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year inventory control experience, preferably in a regulated environment such as pharmaceutical or medical device industries
• High school diploma or GED
