Job Description
Our organization is on the lookout for a board-certified or board-eligible Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist who has completed a fellowship to join our expanding clinic. As a key player in Iowa's premier community-based Advanced Heart Failure Program, you will collaborate with a dedicated team of specialists focused on delivering cutting-edge therapies and fostering innovation in heart failure management throughout Iowa.
Opportunity Highlights
- Become part of a team consisting of 4 Physicians and 1 Advanced Practice Provider (APP)
- Manage an average of 13-17 patients daily in the clinic
- Participate in a call rotation of 1:4 weeks
- Utilize the recently approved Barostim procedure
- Engage in implantable fluid monitoring, LVAD management, echocardiogram interpretation, nuclear medicine, and various cardiac imaging/testing
- Benefit from two examination rooms allocated per provider
- Participate in shared outreach clinic opportunities once a month
- Serve a tertiary service area with a population of 1.5 million

- Base Salary: $624,834
- Recruitment incentive of $75,000

We also have an accredited Cardiology Fellowship program with 8 fellows, operate 8 primary office locations, and serve over 15 outreach facilities across Iowa.
