Physician - Family Medicine - Lakes Family Medicine

Exciting Opportunity Overview:

• The physician will join a well-established outpatient Family Medicine practice located in Muskegon, Michigan.
• Collaboration with a dedicated care team comprising 4 Physicians and 4 Advanced Practice Providers.
• The practice emphasizes a procedures-oriented outpatient approach, including skin treatments, joint injections, and other typical Family Medicine procedures.
• The physician will work a full-time schedule (1.0 FTE), with 4 to 4.5 clinic days each week.
• Clinic hours are as follows:
  • Monday to Wednesday: 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM
  • Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
  • Friday: 7:00 AM - 4:00/5:00 PM
• The office operates Monday through Friday during regular business hours.
• Call responsibilities are shared and unrestricted, rotated among Family Medicine providers in the network, averaging only a few weeknights and weekends per year, along with one rotating holiday.

Qualifications:

• Open to both new graduates and experienced physicians.
• Candidates must be board certified in their specialty or board eligible, with the expectation to achieve board certification within two years of eligibility.
• A valid Michigan state medical license is required upon employment.
• DEA license is necessary.
• BLS certification is required, with ongoing recertification.
