Opportunity Highlights- Become part of a team consisting of 5 Physicians and 3 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
- Work structure: 80% inpatient and 20% outpatient
- On-call rotation of 1:5
- Daily rounding and consultation volume of 12-15 patients
- Clinic patient volume of 12-15, with APP support for follow-ups
- 24/7 coverage by Pulmonary Critical Care and Hospitalists
- Engagement as faculty for Internal Medicine Residency
- Access to a built-in referral network
- Guaranteed annual salary of $285,261 for the first two years

Our Des Moines facility comprises 4 hospitals in central and southern Iowa, totaling 875 beds, and oversees 16 rural hospitals. The Des Moines Medical Center is a Level 2 Trauma center with 550 beds, serving a tertiary area of 1.4 million and hosting one of Iowa's busiest Emergency Departments. We have received the Get With The Guidelines-Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award from the American Stroke Association and are the only hospital in Iowa to earn the Gold Seal of Approval and Primary Stroke Center certification from the Joint Commission.
