Pay: $21.00$23.00/hr DOE
Schedule: 1st Shift | MondayFriday | 6:00 AM3:30 PM
Location: Lewisville, TX 75057

Overtime and weekend work may be required based on production demands.

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Machinist to set up, program, and operate manual and CNC mills, lathes, and surface grinders to produce precision components. The ideal candidate can maintain tight tolerances, read blueprints, and perform quality inspections to ensure parts meet specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, program, and operate manual and CNC mills, lathes, and grinders.

  • Select tooling and establish machining parameters.

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.

  • Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools.

  • Maintain tolerances of .002".

  • Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues as needed.

  • Perform routine machine maintenance and tooling changes.

  • Assist with fabrication projects, fixtures, and jigs.

  • Maintain a safe and organized work area.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Experience operating manual and/or CNC machining equipment.

  • Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.

  • Strong math, mechanical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

  • Reliable transportation required.

Preferred

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish).

  • Welding, grinding, or fabrication experience.

  • Experience machining metal and composite materials.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.

  • Ability to lift 3070 lbs.

  • Ability to work safely around machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Additional Requirements

  • Must pass a background check and drug screening.

  • Must be available for overtime and weekend work as needed.
